Carlos Trilha
Carlos Trilha is a music producer which had his first contact with music at the age of three at rare wooden organ made by Hering in the 60s. At the age of 9, he began his studies of piano. In the early 1980s, his ease in learning and his interest in different sounds soon redirected his moves toward pop music and electronic music. He discovered that the mysterious sounds he was so interested in listening to his favorite Kraftwerk records, Vangelis and Jean-Michel Jarre, were created by “synthesizers.” In 1985, at the age of 15, Trilha finally realized his dream of acquiring a synthesizer, A Roland RS-202.
Since then, it has not stopped. In that same year, he presented his work of electronic music, besides participating in several presentations with rock bands of his city. In 1986, he was keyboardist of the biggest rock band in Santa Catarina, Tubarão. In 1989, he was invited to join Léo Jaime’s band and moved to Rio de Janeiro. At the end of 1991, he began his participation in the Legião Urbana support band, which would change his life. His musical affinity with Renato Russo yielded to him the production of the solo CDs of the leader of the Legion.
His rare knowledge in synthesis and digital audio was soon perceived in the middle of Rio where he became a very respected musician, producer, arranger and programmer, working with big names in pop music like Marisa Monte, Lobão, and Ana Carolina. Learn more at www.carlostrilha.com.br
