Singer, producer, guitarist, composer, arranger and recording and mixing technician. He began his studies of music with the guitar, dedicating himself to classical and Brazilian choros.
In the 80’s, at age 18 he studied composition with the composer and arranger Mario Adnet. He studies singing with Marco Dantonio and with Maria Lúcia Valadão, he founded “Coro Come”, a cult brzilian vocal group – that mixed theater with music – to which he would end up becoming one of the directors and soloists. He becomes a singing teacher, having as students, among others, the singers of the group “Miquinhos Amestrados”, “Abreu and Avelar” and the actress Drica Moraes. He performs vocal direction of musical pieces, like “Pedro e o Lobo”, “Tontas Coisas” (text of Chacal) both under the direction of Beto Brown, thus the children’s musical of Tim Rescala and Karem Accioly “Os Visigodos”.
In 84, he won the award for best arrangement and soundtrack of publicity for Caixa Econômica’s announcement (MPM agency). In 89 he joined the experimental band “Régua”, forming a trio with Rogério S and Carlos Fuchs over three years. He becomes a student of counterpoint, harmony and morphology of the master of contemporary music, Hans Joaquim Koeullreuter.
In the 90’s, he joined the group that founded the Discover Digital Studio in the Botanic Garden in Rio, where he divided a production room, arrangements and programming of keyboards with Carlos Trilha, at the time ending Renato Russo’s solo album “Distant Equilibrium”. He works on the posthumous disc of Renato Russo “O ultimo solo” (EMI-Odeon), accompanying the editing and recovery of Renato’s voices. They produce several CDs, as well as occasional services for artists such as, Marisa Monte, Ana Carolina, Caetano Veloso (film “Lisbela and the Prisoner”), Los Hermanos, Netinho, Catedral and many others.
